Is Everyone A Symbologist?
Sierra’s figuring seems pretty reasonable to me. That does kinda’ looks like a hunter shooting at a Bigfoot. And even Scout’s pretty sure those other glyphs are a map. So the Girl Scout’s on the right track. Not that I like it. And, to make matters worse, there’s only one more page after this one then Bigfoot and Scout and I hibernate for a while. Let’s hope the cast and crew of Spottin’ Sasquatch gets bored in the meantime and goes home.
Process, Anyone?
Here’s my process for panel one of this page. I had a lotta’ fun with this one. I posted everything from my initial rough sketch to the finished panel. Click to enlarge.
One More To Go
Thanks for reading! Like I mentioned, next week is the final page of this chapter of the story, then we go on break. I think spacing this story out in “seasons” will work better for everyone and give me a chance to build up a little buffer. Unless, of course, I wrap it all up next week with some insane plot device. -v

That first panel is beautiful! I’m really worried that they are going to figure things out and try to follow Bigfoot and Scout. I can’t wait for more, but you really do deserve a break! Thanks for keeping me entertained week after week!
Glad you’re enjoying it. I always end up putting the guys in some sort of peril so…odds on the tv crew going back home are pretty low. : ) -v
Excellent story so far. Looking forward to next week’s cliffhanger!
I know this first section was fairly grounded, and centered around the cave, but I’m really looking forward to getting out into the woods in the next section and stretching my legs. -v
Time was well spent establishing the personalities. Sierra is a great young character, we can trust her judgment. Counting on her to foil that camera crew’s self-serving motives.
Great foreshortening in that first panel.
I had so much fun with that first panel. Glad you like it! -v
