Untold Tales of Bigfoot: Ghosts and Monsters page 2001

<<<First | <Previous | Next>

What’s up with Scout frantically running through the woods, calling for Bigfoot? I dunno. But it seems like a good way to start a story. And August 15th seems like a good day to start a new story.  So we’ll see where this one goes.

Stamp

If you own the graphic novel you may recognize the little Bigfoot doodle in the photo. Well, I’ve turned it into a stamp now. Helps add zing to my thank you notes. Does that mean I’m not doodling the little Bigfoot doodle on the title page of the graphic novel anymore? Not at all. For now, I’m still drawing in and signing every book. But one day in the far flung future I may decide my hand is tired. And that is the day, young grasshopper, that I will start using the stamp.

Fall Special is in the shop

I know this book isn’t officially released until September, and it won’t officially debut until October at New York Comic Con, but I’ve already unofficially sold a bunch to eager readers and so now it’s officially in my online shop.

Reviewing the printer

For any cartoonists/comic-creators interested in printing their own comics, I did a quick review of the printer (Comix Well Spring) that printed the Fall Special for me. You can read that review on my news/process blog, but spoiler: I think they did a fine job.

Thanks for reading! See you next week! -v

  1. Good beginning, Vince! Especially for a story entitled, “Ghosts and Monsters”!

    • Thanks, RG. The title may not be as literal as it sounds but…then again, maybe it totally is. Fact is, you gotta name ’em something and The Empire Strikes Back was already taken. :^D

  2. Hello Vince,
I got my Fall Special on Saturday, amazingly fast for the post office now. The book is really nice, thick quality pages, colors bright, real change when Jersey Devil story went to color. And a new story started almost right away is nice bonus for us all. Thanks again for getting us over the hump on Wednesdays.

    • The post office has been on it with these Fall Specials! Very happy to hear it got there quickly and that you’re happy with it! Now that I’ve gotten back into posting pages on Wednesdays, it’s kind of hard not to. Turns out I miss doing this, and interacting with you guys. So take that, hump day! Thanks, Dave. -v
