Untold Tales of Bigfoot: Devil In The Details

<<<First   |  <<First “Devil”  |  <Previous  |   Next>

A net? And a cattle prod? And a big, honkin’ truck?! These guys seem serious about monster hunting. They’ve got Bigfoot curious, anyway. But he’s always been a little sensitive about that “monster” label. Speaking of which…

“Monster” Washes Up On Georgia Beach

A mysterious creature washed up on a beach in Georgia this past March, many locals likening its appearance to the infamous Loch Ness Monster. I don’t know what this animal is (or exactly what they’re blurring out in the photo) and my knowledge of sea creatures stops at canned tuna. But at only 5-feet long, it’s much smaller than popular accounts of the actual “Nessie” and about 4,000 miles from that legendary loch. It’d be nice if these “monster sightings” didn’t all start or end with injured/dead animals, but such is the evidence at our disposal. What do you think it is? Or was? Some sort of eel? Or a prehistoric beastie? And could there be more? If there are, I hope we don’t hunt it out of existence.

Thanks for reading the comic! Stop back next week to see what’s up.-v
