So there it is. Bigfoot and Scout’s first actual meeting where nobody runs away and hides. Saving someone’s life can earn you a little trust. I guess we’ll see where it goes from here.

Don’t forget, to enter to win the Bigfoot & Scout Holiday Sketch Card, all you have to do is drop a thoughtful comment down there in the comments section. The details are here. There’s a bunch of people already vying for that card. Are you gonna let them steal it away from you? Come on. It’s Christmas. Try thinking about yourself for a change.-v

Thanks for stopping by. I’d love to hear what you think of the comic. Just remember, Untold Tales of Bigfoot is for grown-ups and kids. So let’s keep the comments appropriate.

  1. This was a serious “Aw!” moment. Very nice!

  2. That’s quite a few woof’s, and an oof of relief for me – and Scout, incidentally…

    • Yeah, Bigfoot doesn’t have the benefit of an omniscient translator the way we do. But it looks like everything’s going fairly smoothly so far. Unless…man, I’d better look over next week’s script to make sure he doesn’t eat the dog after all!

  3. Love the storytelling.

    • You, sir, are going to give me a swollen cranium. But I’m really glad you’re enjoying the story. Now I’ll just prop up my giant skull and write some more…

  4. Once they figure out some way of communicating I think this will be the beginning of a nice friendship.

  5. I think I’m really gonna like this Bigfoot a lot. This moment really touched me. Thank you, Vince.

    • Thank you for saying so, George. I’m glad you’re enjoying the story. Across the board, this long-awaited hug has been everyone’s favorite moment. Let’s all just enjoy it while we can because there might be a few stumbling blocks awaiting these two on the path ahead.-v

  6. They’ll make great friends! Love your comic!!

    • Thanks, Cheryl! Yeah, I think they’d make good friends…and you think they’d make good friends…But does Scout think they’d make good friends? There’s the rub. Let’s hope we can get Scout to see things our way. -v

  7. So Bigfoot speaks Dog. But does the Dog speak Dog? He seems proficient at English

    • Well, Bigfoot’s a bit of a mimic, but I think you may find out that he’s not all that skilled at translating what the dog’s saying. Scout’s english translation is courtesy of everyone’s favorite omniscient observer, yours truly (see page 11). Thanks for stopping by!
